Change

This semester has flown by. Although, at times I thought it was never ever going to end... I can't believe tomorrow is my last day! Spring break could not be coming at a better time, I'm so ready for some time off at home!

It has been such a fun semester and I have been able to meet so many new and amazing people. Sierra left for spring break this morning, and I am busy preparing to move into a new apartment next semester. I'm so lucky to have had such an amazing roommate and best friend for the past three semesters. While it has been a sad move, spring will be filled with change and new adventures! I can't wait.

In the mean time, excuse me while I go pack and finish all my finals...
yikes.

Easter

Happy (late) Easter! I was so happy I was able to escape school for a little bit and make a little trip down to Utah this weekend. I had such a lovely time with my family and was so excited to see my little nephews and niece and to catch up with my siblings. It's always sad saying goodbye when it's time to head back up to Rexburg, and this weekend was no different. We had so much fun having picnics, playing at parks, having a much needed GNO, and of course having an easter egg hunt for the little ones. (More pics of my weekend are to come.) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are recouping from all the sugar highs!

Here is what I wore for my Easter Sunday!

Interview with ARIE from The Bachelorette

So basically this Saturday was the best day of my life. All because the one and only Arie, from Emily's season of The Bachelorette, came to Rexburg, Idaho! He came to host a party and concert at Sammy's - home of thee most amazing pie shakes, fries and coolest people.(If you're in SLC, Provo, or Rexburg go check Sammy's out. It'll rock your world.)

But not only was I able to chill and snap pics with Arie all night, but I also was given the chance to sit down and interview him!

Was I dying? Yes. Is he even cuter in person than he was on the show? Yes. He was seriously the nicest thing ever and it was so fun to hang out and get to know him! We had the best time chatting about his time on The Bachelorette, what he's doing on the racetrack and his dating life.
Here are a few of the pictures I captured during the night and our interview!

WARNING: for the interview I was using the 'voice memo' app on my iPhone to record his answers. I pressed record and went about the interview. After it was done and he left, I realized that I had only recored 3 seconds of the conversation and the rest wasn't even recording! I was furious to say the least. So I only have my memory to go off of! That is why his answers aren't in direct quote form... sorry Arie!

Q: What are you up to these days, what's going on in your life?

(He is a race car driver, IndyLights winner, Indy 500 starter, and a current IndyCar 2-Seater Driver)

Arie: He's been focusing on racing and preparing for his race coming up on April 6th in the Stadium Super Trucks Series. He's been working on his campaign 'The teamArie truck' to help raise money for the upcoming race season. Allowing fans to contribute and have their picture placed on Arie's Stadium Super Truck or helmet during his season. After the race season, his helmet will then be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to Red Cross. (Good luck Arie!)

Q: How has life been after The Bachelorette?

Arie: He said it's been crazy but so much fun. He had a lot of fun being on the show and has made some great friends because of it. He's been traveling doing different events like the one at Sammy's.

Q: What did you think of Sean's season? Were you happy with who he chose?

Arie: He enjoyed watching Sean and knows that he is happy with Catherine. He was rooting for AshLee and thought they would make a good couple, but found out before the finale that Catherine won and was okay with it and is looking forward to meeting her. He's happy for Sean and wishes both of them the best of luck.

Q: Would you ever consider being the Bachelor?

Arie: He doesn't know if he would ever really consider it. He said he has kind of "been there done that" and doesn't think he would even have the chance. He joked that he's getting old (31) and so people wouldn't want to date him. (I reassured him that he was quite the lady's man and he would have no trouble finding a girl. But if not, that I would gladly fill that role ;))

Q: Do you still talk to Emily?

Arie: (Laughs and smiles) He doesn't still talk to her or see her. He said, "that ship has sailed." He also mentioned that he has moved on from it.

Q: You and Jef are quite the BFF's now, do you guys text and hang out a lot?

Arie: He said that they are super close and hang out whenever they can. They often travel together and Jef occasionally comes down to Arizona (where Arie is from) to visit him. He said that Jef was going to come to the Sammy's event, but he was on vacation and wasn't able to come.

Q: Are you dating anyone?

Arie: No, he's not dating anyone right now or interested in anyone in particular. (phewf!) He said he goes on dates, but doesn't have a girlfriend.

Q: Describe your type of girl.

Arie: He likes all types of girls. There isn't one certain type that he goes for or likes. Blondes, brunettes, Latinos, American, he likes them all! He said that he does kind of want to date someone who didn't see him on the show; that way they can get to know him from scratch and not judge him based on what they saw on the show.

Thanks for hangin' with us Arie! You were so sweet and we had the best time. And a big shout out to Sam for setting everything up!
